Bea Vazquez- Church Girl of the Week

Her Testimony:

The bible says, “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name, welcomes me…” -Mark 9:37 NIV

About 2 years ago, God put it on my heart to leave my corporate job to go into ministry. Although I didn’t know what that calling on my life was going to really look like, I knew that He wanted me to obey and trust Him. So, after much prayer and several signs of His confirmation, I took a huge leap of faith (at 47 years of age) and left behind the life I once thought defined my worth.

To say that my journey has been difficult and painful at times, is an understatement, But God wanted to bring to the surface all my residual imperfections and shape me into a kingdom woman. He showed me my calling and my ministry purpose during this season. He called me to follow Him, to share His love for others and to do His good work, from here to the ends of the earth.

I once again, how the amazing opportunity to go back to Montrouis, Haiti from May 16-23 2020 with my missions teammates from Grace Family Church in Lutz, Fl. I am beyond excited to be heading back to a country that changed my heart, mindset, and ignited something anew in me. During this amazing 7 day trip our team will once again partner with Schools for Haiti where we’ll get to prepare and present a dynamic children’s program to several different communities, participate in home visits to encourage and be encouraged by the people in the community, and worship alongside Haitian believers, and much more!

As I prepare for this upcoming trip, I kindly ask for your prayers of safety and for God to work in and through my teammates and I.
